Fallen for friend
Hi.
I have fallen in love with my friend. we've been friends for about 7 years and he insists that its more like 9.
the thing is that there are times when i get glimpses of feelings from him. we've never openly talked about relationship between us, but neither of us is seeing anyone else. i know i can call on him at any hour day or night and he'll be there for me and vice versa. i made him a birthday card and in it i told him i loved him but he's been silent about it.
we flirt a lot and we spend a lot of time together and when we're away from each other we're miserable.
any ideas???

Well, who makes better lovers then friends! I remember that the first thing I ever said to my husband is "we will never be any more then friends" That didnt last long. Are you sure that when you wrote in that card that you love him that he understood that you didn't mean just as friends. It sounds like you would be a perfect match. Now you have to convince him! I think you need to slowly gradually move things a little farther until before you know it your kissing. Maybe start with giving him a massage tell him he's tense and then sit closer to him and so on. I know you are flirting but start increasing the tension. My friend ( my husband) sent me a red rose that said. Love your friend and then he started massaging my back all the time and then holding my hand in a crowd next thing I knew it we were kissing. Still as friends till one day he said I love you and I knew I loved him.
