Sex after baby
For the past few months after I had my first baby, my body changed, of course. I gained about 45 lbs, which has made me even more conscience about myself when i'm naked around him. I want to make sex fun and interesting for him, but to buy sexy outfits cost money, which right now i can't afford to buy. I've kind of gotten the feeling that he's getting a little bored from me. We've only been married for a year and a half. Sometimes when i want to surprise him, i'm too shy and afraid of what he's going to think of me, like he'll tell me, 'you're so sexy' and inside he's probably thinking, 'jeeze, what is she thinking?' i really really want to start losing weight, but right now i'm breastfeeding, so i dont know if i should start losing weight and also i dont have enough will power. Please help me! i dont know what to do!!!
It's normal to not feel sexy after having a baby. Your body has gone through a lot of changes and most of us carry extra weight after birth.The baby is taking a lot of time and there is not a lot of time alone or a lot of energy. Sometimes we forget that although our chages are obvious your husband has also gone through a lot of changes in his life. He now has the responibility of a new baby. He probably isn't bored just deep in his thoughts. He has a lot to think about. He also might be feeling the weight of the extra financial responsibility. He is telling you he loves you and still think your sexy. You are the mother of his child and he loves you no matter what you look like. You just have to learn to believe it. Try to put on your makeup and dress in your favorite things and do your hair look your best you can because this will help you feel better about your self. Try candles in the bedroom or role playing pertending to be someone else. ( this may help you with confidence.) Try going to bed naked. This might surprise him and your under the covers so you still feel covered. If this isn't the norm it might surprise him when he climbs in bed and your already there sleeping naked. Don't be so hard on your self relax and enjoy your new life.
