Dear Dr. Mama Love
The love of my life has left me five years ago to see other women. I said fine and we went our seperate ways. He went into the service and I went off to college. We both saw other people but nothing that has ever lasted. We are both now stable in our life. Now after five years he is coming back around and wants to see me again. I love him and have always loved him but I am not sure I can take the chance that he will do this to me. He left me broken and I have rebuilt. Please help me. Give me your advice and wisdom.
honey, love hurts sometimes but we must pick ourselves up off the ground and dust ourselves off and get back on the horse again. It is better to have loved and failed then to have never loved at all. Take the chance especially sense you still love him. You are both older and more mature now and you have said that you are both stable in your life. This is the time to take the chance on love and maybe this time it will be permenant.
