The most important thing to remember when you set out to flirt is to wear something you feel sexy in. Something that will make you feel good about yourself and give you the confidence you need to flirt. It could be something silky, short or low cut. Maybe your favorite pair of jeans that you think looks great on you or that shirt everyone says they love when you wear it. Showing a little flesh never hurt anyone and is quite enticing. Then when you walk in the room walk in with all the confidence in the world and be ready to flirt even if don't want a relationship with this person but who know maybe a date will come out of it.
If you find that one person you want to flirt with, glance over at him or her, look him or her directly in the eyes and smile and raise your eyebrows slightly. Make them feel like they are the only person in the world. Purposely lick your lips and while your talking to someone else give him a side ways glance. When you are looking at him or her make the stare a little longer then you normally would look at someone.
While you are standing a women interested in a man will many times will unconciously will arch their back slightly to make her chest protrude a bit so it can be seen better. If you are someone who doesn't know how to flirt this is something you could practice so it can be more natural. Try getting a mirror and practing in it.
When you decide its time to talk to him, if you know him, go up to him start talking to him. Make them feel that you are listening to everything they are saying. People know when you are listening. Gently while talking to him touch his hand or rub her shoulders if she is cold or give him a gentle shoulder massage and tell him he/she looks tense. Make body contact. Make sure that the person is showing at a least a little interest in you when you do this because if they are cringing when you are around you don't want to do this. Flirting should make you feel good, never bad.
When talking to the other person try using double entendres when speaking to the other person. Double entendres are things that have a non sexual meaning and a sexual meaning (well not all double entendres are about sex just the ones we are talking about). Use playful sexual innuendo into a conversation when no one else is around but watch how the other person is reacting to what you are saying. Pay attention and watch and listen. Being alone with the other person makes this easier. You can be semi alone with this person even in a room full of people.
Don't use tasteless pick up lines no one likes them an they get you no where. Make sure you don't bite your nails or do terrible habits that you know you have. We all have them just try to be aware of them and don't do them. Don't use words like um, like or huh often times we don't realize how often we use this when we are nervous. Remember whispering will always get someones attention.
Try to be playful in your teasing, tickling or just messing around with them.
Keep things light.
If you are at a party and dont know your subject ask someone who knows him or her and get them to introduce you to them and then proceed with the talking. Girls try not to be too pushy or obtainable at first a man loves the chase. Men love to play games and they will want to win so if this is someone you are interested in, let the games proceed. It's like a chess game every move you make has a purpose and that is to conquer the king or a dance with every step you take that match it with another.
Remember to make sure you compliment him or her. "You have the most beautiful eyes." "That dress looks great on you." It's the perfect way to flirt and make someone feel good about themselves. If you are really brave you could say something like, "I love the way that dress or shirt clings to you." If you do this one you had better make sure you are being sincere or they will take it as an insult and that would ruin everything.
Remember that if you don't feel comfortable with flirting try it first on someone who really doesn't matter to you. Use them as a practice person before you do it on someone you care about. If you do the flirting correctly it will make you feel good about your self.
Remember that many people flirt when ever someone is around male or female. If the subject of your desire is flirting with you and only there's interest. If he or she is doing this to everyone in the room don't put to much into it or you might get your feelings hurt.
