What is the difference between making love and having sex?  Is there a difference? Yes, there is. The difference is that having sex has no emotional attachment. It is just an act. There is no consideration for the other person. It is all about self gratification. Making love is about putting the other person first.  Caring more about their gratification then their own.  This occurs between two people in a loving, caring relationship

How do I know if we are making love or having sex? You will know because if you watch your partner if he is caring about how you feel and your gratification then he or she is making love to you. If they are only caring about what they can get out of it then it is just sex. Does this mean your partner won't be feeling good? No, because if you are making love to them and trying to make sure they are gratified then he or she should be feeling pretty good too.

Isn't beautiful how God designed it. He made it perfect for us. Now the question is When will I know if I am ready for such a big step in my life?  You will know because you will be in a loving, caring relationship with your true love. So, you ask how will I know if its true love? I will tell you I believe you need to wait till your married because that is sign to yourself and the world that you are in loving commited relationship.

I need to tell you to be careful having sex before your married because it can destroy you emotionally. It's not usually permenant but it sure does hurt. I will tell you also to wait till you get married because it is a gift you can give your spouse. The only truly "safe sex" is to save sex until you are in a committed, lifelong relationship such as marriage

The problem is I know many of you will not wait until your married so in the event that you are going to make love before your married be sure to use condoms and some other method of birth control. Remember condoms are an unreliable protection against disease and pregnancy. Use more then one type of protection. Condoms can help with this but what about the other percentage.

  • HIV by 85%
  • Gonorrhea by about 50%
  • Chlamydia by about 50%
  • Herpes by about 50%
  • Syphilis by about 50%
  • HPV by 50% or less

Make sure you are in a committed, loving relationship because sex will bind you like nothing else will. Hopefully you will have been together for a while so that you are more sure of your self. If you are worried about what you look like, if you will do it right then you are not ready.

If you have an accident and have a baby before you are married it can affect not only your life but the life of the unborn child. Having children in your teens can cause low birth weight babies and they tend to have lower cognitive scores.  It can change the course of your life too. It might make it so you can't go to college or finish high school. You are more likely to be on welfare and change jobs often. Is it worth the chance of having an accident?

  • Sex causes pregnancy. If you have sex, you're taking a huge risk of altering the course of your life forever.  If you have the child they are a lot of work and they cost a lot of money. If you were going to go to college it may make it so you can't go. Be careful. If you have sex before you are married or ready to have children please be prepared there are many different types of birth control out there that you can use.

Remember that everyone who you have sex with is coming to bed with you when you are with your partner. Make sure that they are not leaving you with a special gift of VD.  Be responsible if you are not going to wait. Your whole life is at stake so please be careful.
