Isn't love grand and wonderful. We want what others have we are looking for that special some one. Some one to share our lives with, some one to love. We are looking for our one true love, that person whom you could spend the rest of your life, the person to fulfill your dreams. The love of your life. Your prince charming or fairy tale princess. It seems you have looked high and low for the person with no avail. Where is this person and why can’t I find them? If there are so many fish in the ocean why does my line always seem to come up empty? Does every one have a soul mate? A true love? Is there just one have a soul mate? A true love? Is there just one person in this life time who could be that soul mate? It's what everyone wants.
Sometimes we are looking so hard and wondering so much that we may be missing what is right in front of our face. So we need to look around a bit with a better eye on what we are looking for or we might just miss that perfect soul mate or our true love.
Part of the problem of why we are not finding our one true love is because we are so use to hearing the fairy tales when we were a kid where prince charming comes in and just sweeps us a way. Cinderella, Snow white and all of those. Where the prince is perfect. Well, I hate to burst all of your bubbles but there is no perfect person who will just ride in a sweep you off your feet. He or she doesn't exist. These are just fairy tales, make believe. This is not what is out there in the real world.
Although the perfect person may come in a sweep you off your feet, the person will be far from perfect. Because of these thoughts and childhood dreams we are often misguided into thinking that there is a perfect person.
We fail to realize that everyone have imperfections. Some of us are graying or have gained weight or have blemishes. Some of us wish we were taller, prettier or more graceful. We are not perfect. Even if we aren’t talking about physical imperfections there are other imperfections. Imperfections of our personalities. Maybe we have a terrible time keeping the house or car clean. Maybe we spend too much money or get depressed to often. We all have imperfections and so does the person we are looking for. Some times we expect to much out of other people. Our expectations are way to high.
Our one true love has imperfections. They are not perfect. God did not create a perfect person in this world. He made us all with imperfections or differences. The thing is our one true love is the person who completes us. What does that mean? you ask well it’s the person who makes us a better person. The person who makes us want to do better with our lives, the person who encourages us. They are own personal cheer leading section. They are there for you in your worst times and are there ready to pick you up and dust you off so we can try again. THey believe in you even when you don't believe in your self. Which sometimes comes a little to often. They know your faults and know you are no princess or prince and they are ok with that. They love you any ways.
Actually, it is the imperfections that sometimes makes them love you more. (It’s a good thing because I sure do have a lot of imperfections) When we love, it isn't because the person's perfect, it's because we learn to see an imperfect person perfectly. Mistakes and all and love them any way.
Sometimes we think no one can love a person like me. We have too many faults and problems that no one could possibly love if they knew. This is not true I believe that there is someone for everyone and that you just need to look in the right places and sometimes we have to look a little harder and be a little more diligent in looking and not look for the perfect person but the one who completes us.
We are so lucky we are in age where we have so many ways to find people and communicate with them. We have online dating, face book, singles groups. Just think how it use to be years ago trying to find your true love. There was no transportation or phones or cell phones. We are all so use to having cell phones around we have forgotten how it use to be. If someone went to the store and you forgot something that you want them to get you just pick up the phone and call them it’s so wonderful. We can keep in contact with everyone at any given moment. If you don’t want to talk to someone just hang up the phone.
All of these things have made it so much easier to find our soul mate or our one true love. Just be careful when you are using things like online dating because people aren’t always what they seem to be. You need to be careful It’s much easier if someone you know knows the person. Just don’t believe everything someone tells you. There are a lot of people out there who are just con artist so you need to be careful and on the look out for people like this. Make sure you never go any where alone with these people meet in a public place and bring friends.
